Hey all - sorry for the lack of posting in some time, but I’ve been busy as all hell.
Had a good new year - and then back to work! I got promoted to Senior Systems Administrator, which was pretty cool. Beyond that, work has been quite tiring and frustrating. Hopefully should be able to get onto some more interesting projects soon.
I’ve been quite involved in our local amateur theatre group (BATS - Biggleswade Amateur Theatre Society) and did a lot of backstage work for our production of Sleeping Beauty, which we put on at Stratton (my old school) in January. Lots of work with getting lights, scenery and staging all in order and then doing scenery on the nights of the performances.
Our next production is a 1-act play for the Bedfordshire Drama Festival, written by one of our long-time members. Al and I both have parts in it (mine very small, being my first stage role!). And after that, a bigger production for September, and then back to panto again for New Year 2006! Like I said, *busy*.
So….yeah. Busy time, but lots of fun!
